Breathe RM The Story

As the parents of a teenager with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), supporting the fundraising work of charities like the Cystic Fibrosis Trust through running, rowing or cycling has always been part of family life for founders David and Kirsty Hill. But a recurring question, was how to attempt something that could have even greater impact and benefit the wider CF community.

David, a technology architect, has always been inspired by the idea of putting technology to work for positive causes. Kirsty brings years of experience working both for and within a number of NHS trusts, as a supplier and a volunteer.  Together, they were inspired by personal experiences and a shared passion for improving healthcare through innovation.

The development of Breathe RM has been a truly collective effort, combining the expertise of the Magic Bullet team with invaluable contributions from funding bodies, clinical professionals, and people with CF. The team has worked closely with cystic fibrosis clinics, advocates, and healthcare innovators to ensure the platform meets real patient needs. They are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed their insights, resources, and commitment to making the platform a reality.
